So what basically are confined spaces and how do they affect workers safety?
Confined space is the enclosed space with limited entry which creates conditions that give likelihood of an accident harm or an injury.
Factors that make a confined space more dangerous include
(A)Lack of ventilation, (B) contents that are known or potential hazards, (C) underground locations, (D) Inside of a tank or container, and (E) Location in a space not intended for prolonged human occupancy.

It generally consists of potentially hazardous atmosphere which has spaces with inwardly converging walls within the space or a floor that slopes downward, tapering to a small cross section.
