  • FSE SAFE Singapore offering all 3 basic Fall Arrest Lifeline System: Vertical | Horizontal | Retractable
  • Fall arrest lifeline systems are critical safety devices designed to protect workers from falls when working at heights. These systems are commonly used in various industries, including construction, maintenance, and industrial operations. They provide a secure line to which a worker’s harness is attached, ensuring that if a fall occurs, the worker is safely caught before hitting the ground.

Vertical Lifeline System

These are typically used in scenarios where workers need to ascend or descend. The lifeline runs vertically, and workers connect to it via a mobile fall arrester that moves with them but locks in place in the event of a fall. This type is commonly used in ladder climbing or work on tall structures.

The FSE SAFE vertical lifeline system features a vertical cable guide securely attached to a robust, load-bearing ladder. Designed for permanent installation on standard steel or aluminum ladders with welded or crimped rungs, this stainless steel lifeline system is easily clamped onto ladder rungs. An optional model with a longer protrusion (130 cm) is available, ensuring safe transitions on and off the ladder.

Key Features

Safe Descent with Protruding Lifeline: The FSE SAFE system ensures a secure descent, extending safety to the very last rung. This fall protection solution includes an integrated vertical rope guide, a practical rope glider, and easily navigable intermediate brackets, epitomizing safety for permanently-installed vertical ladders. One standout feature is the optional 130 cm-long protrusion module at the upper end, guaranteeing safe entry and exit.

Easy Installation: The FSE SAFE system attaches directly to the ladder, eliminating the need to drill into the facade. Made from durable stainless steel, it meets the stringent requirements of the PPE directive and is certified in accordance with EN 353-1:2018 (previously CNB/P/11.073). Each vertical lifeline glider secures one individual, with the system supporting up to two users simultaneously.

By choosing the FSE SAFE vertical lifeline system, you are ensuring unparalleled safety and compliance with industry standards for workers navigating vertical ladders.

Components

The system comprises the following components:

  • Top anchor system
  • Bottom anchor system
  • Intermediate anchor system
  • Wire rope lifeline running throughout

Additionally, it includes a glider system to which personnel attach their fall arrest harness, enabling safe use of the ladder.

Horizontal Lifeline Systems

FSE SAFE Horizontal Lifeline Systems consist of a flexible line, often made of steel or synthetic rope, stretched between two anchor points. Workers are attached to the line with a lanyard and harness, allowing them to move along the length of the line. Horizontal lifelines are ideal for environments where workers need mobility along a flat or gently sloping surface, such as rooftops or scaffolds.

FSE SAFE lifeline systems and rail systems ensure your work and accesses are secured at all times – across virtually any distance.

Our lifeline systems provide standard fall arrest solutions to secure a falling edge.

Self-Retracting Lifeline

A self-retracting lifeline (SRL) is an extendable device that features automatic locking, tensioning, and retraction mechanisms. During a fall, the SRL reduces the force exerted on the user through an integrated fall absorber mechanism within the device or the lanyard connector. These lifelines are manufactured in compliance with EN 360 standards and tested according to EN 364 requirements.

SRLs automatically retract and extend the lifeline as the worker moves, maintaining constant tension. If a fall occurs, the SRL locks to arrest the fall. These systems provide greater mobility and are often used in confined spaces or where the risk of falling varies.

A particularly robust self-retracting lifeline (SRL) featuring a steel cable, available in various lengths up to 30 meters. This SRL provides fall protection for one individual when used with personal protective equipment (PPE).

Gotcha Rescue Kit

Fall arrest lanyards, blocks, and systems are essential for preventing workers from falling to the ground when working at heights. However, simply arresting the fall is not enough:

The casualty may be suspended out of reach

They may be injured and in need of urgent rescue and medical attention

Whether suspended 2 meters or 200 meters away, on scaffolding or a telecoms tower, immediate help is crucial. The Gotcha Rescue Range enables fellow workers to take action promptly, ensuring every second counts.

FSE SAFE lifeline systems and rail systems ensure your work and accesses are secured at all times – across virtually any distance.

Our lifeline systems provide standard fall arrest solutions to secure a falling edge.

    1. Modular Constant Current Control Panel

Modular Constant Current Control Panel Features an anode module housing a transformer, power rectifier, electric current measuring, and control components. It provides two separate positive outputs, with current adjusted via a control knob and displayed numerically. Anomalies trigger a red LED indicator on the module and activate the alarm relay in case of power failure.

  1. Anti-Corrosion Anodes

The Anti-Corrosion Anodes are copper alloy rods supplied with a cofferdam and flange for easy replacement. When DC current is applied, the copper anode releases controlled copper ions into sea water circuits, preventing the settlement and development of primary forms of marine life.
