The GasViewer GV-F-3234 is an advanced Optical Gas Imaging (OGI) fixed cooled camera designed for continuous on-site gas leak monitoring. It provides real-time visualization and quantification of gas clouds, enhancing safety and environmental compliance. This comprehensive turnkey solution includes a field junction box, control room hardware, alarms, and seamless integration with the Distributed Control System (DCS). Moreover, it is certified for safe operation in hazardous areas (Atex zones 1 and 2). This OGI camera essentially functions as a highly effective gas detector, ensuring round-the-clock vigilance for potential leaks.
ACCURACY
Capable of detecting as low as 0.3 grams per second (gr/sec) of CH4 at 125 meters or 0.5 gr/sec of CH4 at 250 meters.
ALARMS
- The system screen in the control room is equipped with automatic visual and audible alarms.
- Optional features include sending SMS or email notifications to the designated person on call.
- Integration with your Distributed Control System (DCS) is also available as an option.
CONNECTIVITY
- Offers flexibility in connectivity options.
- For camera-to-control room communication: Fiber optic or wireless connections are available as optional choices.
- For communication between the system server in the control room and your DCS: Modbus or dry contact connections can be used (both optional).
RECORDING
- Automatic video recording initiates with every alarm and continues for the duration of the alarm event.
- Based on the specific needs of our customers, additional recording times can be customized, such as 24/7 recording for a certain number of days.
- Videos are stored on the system’s hard drive, and a user-friendly interface facilitates easy retrieval and playback for later analysis.
SAFETY CERTIFICATIONS
The system is certified with ATEX II 2G Ex db IIC T6 Gb, with an option for zone 1 availability.

The system server and software have the capability to manage multiple GV-F-3234 units.
